Stunning 1979 Austin Morris Mini Van 95. Just 3 Ow... More Info £5,000 Brief DescriptionThe iconic Mini Van is a commercial panel van rated at a ¼ ton load capacity with a 0.95 ton weight. In 1978 the Mini Van was officially rebranded the Mini ‘95’ to acknowledge this. The iconic Mini Van was produced between 1960 and 1982, they became so popular within the sixties due to minimal commercial vehicle taxation that by the end of their production run in 1982 over 500,000 Mini Vans had been built! For sale is a 1979 Austin Morris Mini Van ‘95’, she looks just like a Corgi Toy, right out of the box! First registered on 12/10/1979 she has had just three owners from new. Her first owner sold her to Mr Kenneth Edward Jones of Rhyll on New Years Eve 1986/7 (31/12/1986), she then travelled not too far to Chester in 2007 where she was purchased by an elderly gent, Mr Michael Foster (07/01/2007). Her bodywork has been extensively restored over the previous five years by Mr Michael Foster. She has benefitted from Brand New Door Skins, Brand New front Wings and Brand New front Sills. Her scuttle has been replaced, brand new and Michael painted her underneath, leaving her underneath smart, set in black. She sits on a brand new set of Steel Wheels, these are of the period and brag a full set of chrome Mini Van Hub Caps as well as a brand new set of four Falken Tyres. Her heater kicks into action right away, her indicators function perfectly, as do her wipers etc. She has the single period SMITHS (Made in UK) speedometer mounted above her parcel Shelf, this counts in both Miles and Kilo-meters, counts up to 100 miles per hour and includes various coloured indication lights, from your indicators, to your beams. Her mileage, 01/02/2012, reads 2870 miles. Last year she completed just 350 miles (driving her back to Sheffield) and the year previous to this she covered only 70 miles. These are documented within her previous MOT’s. I cannot confirm that her mileage is accurate, her odometer works perfectly and I have no reason to doubt it. She spent a lot of time on SORN while in the ownership of Kenneth Edward Jones and Michael Foster did very few miles, mainly restoring her within his garage. The work and parts spec is quite a long one so I’m going to do my best to get it all written down for you. With some story and history too. I purchased the car in 2006 from a club member located near Brands Hatch, after a year of owning it the arch repairs that had been carried out a few years prior were starting to look tired plus the sill had a small hole, so it went into the garage for some body work repair which then turned into the whole car being stripped down to a shell and every piece of metal being checked for rust and damage and repaired as necessary. I have a lot of receipts and digital photos to back up the work undertaken. After the metal work was done, the car was then stone chipped on the underside/sills and in the engine bay, and professionally painted in a fresh coat of Sandalwood Brown paint, under sealed on the underside and wax oiled in all the internal places I could get to. All the suspension components were sandblasted and powder coated black prior to fitting back on. During the rebuild many new bits went on the car which include new brake pipes, fuel pipe, upgraded polybushes all round, new engine and gearbox mounts, new king pins and wheel bearings, upgraded fully adjustable track rods, fiesta brake disc conversion on the front with Goodridge braided brake hoses, separate brake and clutch reservoirs, new larger brake and clutch master cylinders fitted, new rear brake shoes, front de camber modification kit fitted, Fully adjustable AVO shocks all round with uprated Monte Carlo springs, nylon bushes fitted to gear stick and steering column, all new window rubber seals and door seals. Fibre glass bonnet fitted. In the engine bay we have Sunbeam B1 Complete Engine 930cc, modified stage 3 cylinder head, Piper fast road camshaft, Balanced Crank assembly, Sport Distributer, 28/36 Weber on Derrington Manifold which has been set up on rolling road for the engine, Luminition ignition, Silicone plug leads, All rubber hoses replaced with new ones, Electric fuel pump and pressure regulator fitted, Roller clutch release bearing, Alternator, Lucas Sport ignition coil, Rev Counter, Competition Rotoflexes, Custom made Stainless Steel Manifold and Back box. (modelled on the Janspeed small bore system) High Efficiency radiator. Wheels and Tyres 12x 5.5 Dunlop D1 Alloys refurbed and coated silver with Falken SN823 155/70/R12 rubber all round, I also have a matching never used fifth alloy wheel as a spare with no tyre fitted. More Improvements and Modifications on the Imp High performance Blower fan, extra heater matrix radiator installed in the air box area to help with cooling on summer motorway trips on the continent. All electrical accessories I have added have been wired through a fuse box under dash, heated rear window kit fitted, Wipac driving lights, Smiths Voltage meter and water temperature gauge fitted, Recon water pump Electric windscreen washer pump, New carpets fitted, The car comes with 11 Months MOT and 5 Months Tax The only bits that need some attention on the car to my knowledge are the rear cross member as it has some small bubbling coming through from under the paint. More Info £5,000 Brief DescriptionStarting at £5000 with no reserve 1970 Lancia 2000 (Flavia) Berlina registered 1972, first registered in UK 2006 and I am the second owner. Very original and unusual Italian car ordered in RHD and with 4 speed gearbox,, power steering and servo brakes. Chassis# 820211003518 Fresh MOT and Tax. .Bodywork & Exterior trim: Original Lancia Blue paint is generally in good condition for a year, most probably has been touched up over the years but to good standard. As you can see from the pictures it is very presentable but on closer inspection there are a few flat spots where overpolishing has worn the paint. There are also a couple of small bubbles, one on a top front wing and a few at the bottoms of the front doors. Unfortunately I found it impossible to capture them with the camera.The subframe is in superb condition and so are the mounts. Other than those spots there is no rust to be found anywhere. Most of the chrome trim and bumpers are stainless therefore very well preserved and look pretty much faultless. All the window and door rubber is in good condition and there are no interior leaks. Underneath it's all solid and the car has been professionally waxoyled throughout. Engine & Gearbox: Solex 36ICH carbureted 2L flat fou\r boxer Flavia engine keeps very good oil pressure (including at idle) is smooth and returns 30mpg. Religiously serviced, just had a recent service and a tune up. Carburettor has been completely rebuilt, ultrasonically cleaned, all gaskets and membranes changed, several parts replaced all tuned as per manual. 4 Speed gearbox has a smooth change even when cold, recent oil change and properly adjusted clutch. Power steering works well and the steering fluid has been recently changed and filter cleaned. Cooling system is in good condition with automatic electric fan operating correctly, never overheats even in heavy traffic. Chassis & Brakes: Original Dunlop disc brakes front and back. Recent brand new discs and calipers and a fresh servo and master cylinder rebuild. Cream painted steel wheels are fitted with new Avon tyres. Recent replaced shock absorbers and some suspension bushes. Interior & Electrics: Everything works as it should, including all the instruments and even the dash clock keeps perfect time. Overall the interior is fantastically preserved, the seats have no rips or unusual wear, headlining is nice, carpets are very good. The dash is in incredible condition, real wood is like new, all knobs and levers are perfect. All the ventilation and heating work as they should. It truly is a well preserved gem in a time-warp condition with original Italian paperwork (one owner from new), lots of quirky original touches like original Italian first aid kit, little stick on badge of a Rallye Lancia Bolognia, original stereo, original optional rear window curtains. It is in my opinion one of the best Lancias I have ever owned and the best kept secret in Lancia world. Flavias are absolutely fantastic and very usable – you will be cruising all day well above the legal speed limit in comfort and doing 30mpg. Unfortunately an expensive B20 project and other things are forcing me to sell it, I hope it goes to someone who will properly appreciate it for what it is – a wonderful piece of Lancia History! More Info £5,000 Brief Description1978 vw campervan. small project.Fully restored and painted inside and out. Full restoration that has come to a grinding halt at the last stages due to lack of funds. A fortune has been spent on this van. The chassis has been fully restored and nearly every panel has been replaced. A local specialist (Unit 10 in St Helens) carried out all work to a high standard. Painted in neptune blue on the outside and white on the inside. The engine bay has been painted too.This was done a couple of years ago so it is still in very good condition. There are one or two bubbles but these are minor. I have managed to dent it above the driver’s side rear light. This will need sorting. There is access to the other side of the dent so it is a fairly easy fix.No welding required at all. It has all been done. The engine has been fully serviced and is in excellent condition. The engine is running. The 2 front doors need building up. It will need 2 quarter light frames as they were a bit scabby. The handbrake needs reconnecting, the door handles need putting back on. I had the locks remade so they are all on one key. The brakes have been fully reconditioned and are in good condition. The front beam has been modified with a foksy adjuster so the ride height can be adjusted. It is set to just under normal ride height at the moment. There are no door cards with the van and no interior. The original headlining is fitted and is in good condition. There is a cupboard located above the engine bay. I would ask anybody who is serious about buying to come and have a look. It is a fantastic van and with a little bit of time it will be a stunner.
